- "Dear Cricket, it's that time again! Training Room time! This time I've got us a space in the Depleted Goldmine. I gotta confess, this location looks like it has a bunch of Dusk Adders. I swear it was empty when I set up this place. Oh well."
2. Talk to Hajoon at the Depleted Goldmine
- "New lesson. A true Blade Master uses all parts of their body, including a little something I like to call Boot !
- Boot is a counter move, which means you use it just as an opponent is about to strike.
- I was gonna have you practice against me, but I just ate. So you're gonna have to take the Boot to a Training Dummy."
3. When the Intricate Training Dummy initiates Pierce, use Boot to stun it (0/3)
- "Boot is a counter skill attacking the target's weak point."
- "Use Boot when the target tries to Pierce."
- "Keep a close watch on every move the Training Dummy makes!"
- "Good. You truly are the pupil of Hongmoon Clan!"
4. Talk to Hajoon at the Depleted Goldmine Training Room
- "Nice footwork, Cricket."
- "What do ya think? Useful, huh?
- Hm, you look pretty anxious to get back to doing cool sword tricks. Well, too bad! There's still more to learn about Boot, you whiner.
- Boot not only neutralizes an opponent's defense, but it's also part of a powerful Stun Combo with the Breeze ability."
- Stun Combo?
- "Yeah! The Boot / Breeze Combo prevents an opponent from acting for a while. This is useful when you want to take one enemy out of commission to focus on the other.
- The downside is if you attack a stunned opponent, they'll recover and start fighting you again. And they get some health back while stunned.
- Okay. Enough talk. Ready to try the Boot / Breeze Combo?"
5. When the Intricate Training Dummy initiates block, use the Boot / Breeze Combo (0/3)
6. Talk to Hajoon at the Depleted Goldmine Training Room
- "Remember: when your opponent Blocks, pull off the Boot/Breeze combo. That'll stun'em real good."
- "Good. Looks like you're finally ready to move on from Boot .
- Ha! Psych! We're not done with Boot yet. There's another step to the Boot / Breeze Combo. I bet you're excited.
- First, use Boot / Breeze like before. But this time follow it up with a Rush . It's not complicated. Just focus, Cricket."
- "Well the! Now with the difficult one."
7. When the Intricate Training Dummy initiates block, use the Boot / Breeze / Rush Combo (0/3)
8. Talk to Hajoon at the Depleted Goldmine Training Room
- "You did it!"
- "I thought you'd be confused with complex Combo skills, but you're better than I thought. Teaching is fun!
- Don't assume it'll be your sword that gets you out of a tough scrape. Boot is a powerful skill both by itself or as part of a larger Combo.
- Let's call it a day. I'll send you a letter when the time comes. Until then, keep practicing! Keep training!"
- "Do not neglect your training!"
