1. Talk to Sim Mani
- "Warrior! Thank you for stopping. I... It's just that I could use a bit of help. Well, a lot of help, really. Please! I don't want to die! (Please please please please please please...)"
- What's wrong?
- "I'm an herbalist, and, I'm supposed to deliver some wild herbs to the Bulwark, and... Well, I'm usually quite brave, my mother always said so, but..."
- What are you trying to say?
- "It's the monsters! And the lightning! And the Gnarlox... And also the thunder, and the rain, and well, the dark and everything. But mostly those monsters who look like men! I started off to gather the herbs--they're used in some of the Earthseers' concoctions--and that's when I saw them! Well, I heard them first. Dead-eyed, angry, mindless things. (Just thinking about them gives me the chills.) They came after me! I got away, but... There's no way an ordinary, very reasonably fearful herbalist like me could go back out there! But I do need to make sure the herbs are delivered, so I was thinking... If you didn't mind the scary Gnarlox, and the man-faced monsters, and the lightning, and the thunder and dark and rain... Well, maybe you could deliver the herbs for me! Please? (My life is worth more than my dignity!)"
- I understand.
- "You will? That's wonderful! Thank you, warrior. The thing is, I haven't actually collected the herbs yet... But they're easy to spot! They grow by trees and pools and... Well, I think the Gnarlox eat them. (Thank the Heavens!) Take the herbs to Earthseer Ritualist Dajinsul. He'll pay you for them. Thank you so much!
2. Gather Wild Herbs (0/5)
3. Talk to Dajinsul
- "What brings you to the Earthseer Bulwark, warrior?"
- I was asked to deliver these.
- "Wild Herbs? Excellent. Have you come on behalf of Sim Mani?"
- Yes.
- "Ah, yes. I suspected he would not come, given his disposition. Still, we are grateful for your aid."
