Dialogue[ | ]
1. Talk to Makgei
- "Everybody here has gone crazy."
- "Oh hey. You must be the Bamboo Guard's new favorite agent. Everybody's talking about you.
- You were even able to convince the Charcoal folks to trust you. Not even Captain Dochun was able to get so much as a friendly nod from these guys.
- If you have a minute or two, I'd like to put those epic problem-solving skills of yours to good use."
- I'll do what I can.
- "Great to hear. So what do you know of the crazed martial artists roaming around near the Dreamdrift?"
- Crazed?
- "The Dreamdrift is dangerous, even in normal times. But with all the dark energy floating around, it's been having a very strange effect on anyone who goes in or out.
- A bunch of martial arts masters have come in to see if they could defeat whatever was causing the disturbance. They couldn't and now several raving lunatics are roaming the forst."
- Can we help them?
- "We've tried. And all we've gotten for our troubles are broken limbs and flesh wounds. They're starting to attack travellers on the roads. They must be stopped.
- Keeping the forest safe is our number one priority. Oh. And be on the lookout for one named Galusu. He's already killed several people and is particularly dangerous."
- "Their minds may have been broken, but their martial arts skills remain intact."

4. Talk to Makgei
- "If only those warriors had worked on their mental defenses as much as their physical ones... You did a good thing today."
- "Keep it up."
